Google Adwords 1-2-3
Was Written by Greg Heslin, who has some awesome credentials, including
being the former vice president of sales and marketing. Google Adwords
1-2-3 shows you how Greg has made up to $1,758 in a day using
Google Adwords, which is Google's pay per click advertising system.
One thing that really stands out about Google Adwords 1-2-3 is the
targeted approach Greg takes. For example, if you are
promoting a
weight loss product, you might be inclinded to use keywords such as
"lose weight". The problem with this approach is that this is
an
obvious keyword which practically everyone who is promoting weight loss
products is using, meaning a huge number of competitors, and a very
high cost per click.
Greg's approach is to help you think about who your consumer
is.
For example, a person who wants to lose weight might also be someone
who is struggling with high blood pressure or who has low self
esteem. Not very many people who are promoting weight loss
products are going to take this approach, so you are more likely to
find a lot less competitors, and therefore a much lower cost per click.
However, there is a slight problem with this approach...
Google uses a quality score to determine your cost per click, which is
based on relevancy. The higher your quality score is, the lower your
cost per click is going to be, and the lower your quality score, the
higher your cost per click is going to be. While keywords
such as
"high blood pressure" might be relevant to someone who is trying to
lose weight, if these keywords don't appear on your web page you are
linking to, Google may not recognize that these keywords are relevant,
and therefore may bump up your cost per click. This is the
greatest weakness of Greg's system, because it doesn't take these
factors into account. One way to compensate for this, of course, is to
build a web page containing the keywords you are targeting, rather than
direct link to the merchant.
Despite this flaw, overall,
Google Adwords 1-2-3
is a very good program because its has a very effective apporach and
because of the in debth information it provides on Google
Adwords. Greg is a really great guy and provides email
support -
and has helped me out a number of times.
Greg's ebook does focus a little bit too much on direct linking, which
is becoming more and more of a thing of the past because of the Google
relevancy factor, so if you purchase Greg's ebook, be prepared to start
learning how to build a website. If you have no idea how to build a
website, I would suggest joining
Wealthy Afffiliate,
which comes with website templates and completely built websites, and
is an awesome resource for learning internet marketing.
